Vieux Château Renaissance is a familly estate of 30 hectares in the village of Saint Sulpice de Pommiers in the Entre-Deux-Mers region of Bordeaux.
The estate is owned by the TURTAUT family since 4th generations. The name of « Vieux Château Renaissance » comes from the presence of the family house since the French period of « The Renaissance »

Soil of clay and limestone.
Leaf thinning to promote optimal sun exposure.
Grass allowed to grow between every other row
Average age of vines os 20 years.
5 000 and 6000 plants per hectare.
Yield is 50 hectoliters per hectare.
Mechanical harvest
• Winemaking:
3 weeks of maceration.
Aging in stainless steel vats with racking every 2 month.
Bottling after 6 month.
Average annual production of 2,000 cases
Alcohol : 14 %
• Colour: Deep intense purple color.
• Nose: Pure fruit on the nose, with notes of strawberry, cassis and blackberry.
• Palate: Round and mellow in the mouth with good fleshiness in the mid-palate and soft tannins.
